WhatsApp prepares group calls

Luckily for all WhatsApp users, it seems that the instant messaging company is constantly looking for ways to innovate within its application with the latest features. And good proof of this seems to be the work being carried out by the company to implement so-called group calls.

Group calls that will logically be introduced into the group chats that WhatsApp users have available in the messaging application. For the moment little is known about this new function, only that the developers of the company are working on it and that probably until next year we will not see it implemented in the service given the complexity of this function.

WhatsApp also imitates Facebook Messenger

The truth is that group calling is not something that WhatsApp people have invented, as it has been implanted in Facebook Messenger for some time now, so it’s a logical step that it also reaches the other messaging service of the company. It could even go one step further and include a feature that also works in the messaging service of the large social network.

Some time ago Facebook launched what have been called group video calls, so this is a feature that we’re sure to see implemented within WhatsApp at some point. Without a doubt, these are functions that can be very useful, especially if we look at the world of work, since it is possible to resolve work meetings without having to make life much more complicated, and with workers in different parts of the planet.
