WhatsApp: Only Group Administrators can Send Messages

We told you a while ago that WhatsApp had implemented a new feature that only group admins could send messages, thus turning the group into a channel or group of ads, and from today this new feature is being activated for everyone and on all platforms.

In this way, at any time a group admin can make only administrators can send messages, being able to return the group to its normal state, everyone can send messages, at any time. For fans of WhatsApp MODs, this feature is already active in GBWhatsApp Plus, but it was not recommended to use it yet.

How works to Send Messages in WhatsApp

First, of course, you will have to be a Group admin, then from the Group Info we will find the Group Settings option. If you click on it you will see the Send messages function, if you click on it you can choose who can send messages in the group, only admins or all the participants.

If the group is in administrator only mode, participants can send a message to the admin, appearing only to the group admin (with an appointment about the group) and not to the other participants, as we have already mentioned.

This new feature is being activated in WhatsApp for Android since beta version 2.18.201, and in stable version 2.18.191, but you have to be patient, it seems to be going long. In WhatsApp for iPhone it seems to be going faster, and is being activated from version 2.18.70
