Description
WhatsApp is back in news again, this time by a rather complicated issue. The issue of security of citizens about the danger of terrorism after the attacks in Paris. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom suggest to remove the IM services.
The British citizens could run out instant messaging services like WhatsApp if the proposition of David Cameron starts after winning the next election. Security protocols proposed by the Prime Minister if he wins the next elections include close down the messaging services that use encrypted messages.
Why do they want to prohibit WhatsApp?
The problem that arises is that to intervene messaging services like WhatsApp, security forces should have permission from the American company. This could quite lengthen the process to intervene messages within the service sent by possible terrorists.
Is hard to imagine that something like WhatsApp can disappear in a country like the UK where rights and freedoms of citizens are guaranteed. But it is a possibility that could affect many users.
