WhatsApp for Android version 2.16.297 stable for all

We can now download WhatsApp for Android in its latest stable version, the new version 2.16.297, an update of which we discussed their news a few days ago, and finally reaches everyone. In this new stable version we can find really interesting new developments not get caught by surprise users beta testers, including notably the ability to draw or add text and emojis to photos and videos you capture within application.

Other new features of this new version of WhatsApp for Android should not spend unnoticed are the possibility to mention someone in the group simply putting his name the @ symbol, send invitation links to groups, sizes larger emoji, flash for selfies and zoom for video recording. As you can see it is quite interesting developments that significantly improve the use of WhatsApp.

Moreover, the beta version of WhatsApp for Android also gets a new update, version 2.16.305, an upgrade without major apparent changes and where work continues on feature enhancements not yet activated as video calls, internal player, support Giphy and tenor or two-factor authentication, which should not take long to be activated.

• Now you can draw or add text and emojis to photos and videos you capture within WhatsApp. You can also pick a brush size or font style by dragging left on the color selector
• In groups, you can now mention specific people by typing the @ symbol
• Group admins can now invite people to join a group by sharing a link. From group info, just tap Add participants > Invite to group via link
• New emoji. And sending a single emoji will now appear larger in chats.
