We can now download WhatsApp for Android in its new beta, version 2.17.229. This is an update that comes with a major change, and is that the new calls and video calls interface, plus the most colorful icons, which was deactivated a few days ago remotely, has been reactivated.
In this way, when making voice calls or video calls, the image of our contact will appear in the upper part of the screen, where the entire screen will be darkened. You can also see the new colors of call and video icons in the CALLS tab and when you select a contact to call.
Waiting for updates on WhatsApp for Android
Internally the APK installation file of WhatsApp for Android has increased by 15 KB, with 459 files modified, among which we can find files related to many of its functions, even with some that are yet to be activated.
