WhatsApp for Android adds Sticker Reactions to its new Beta

WhatsApp for Android, in its Beta version, has been updated just a few hours ago to the new version 2.18.189, adding a new feature much awaited by everyone: the Sticker Reactions. It should be noted that the function is not yet available, it is disabled, but everything suggests that it will soon be available.

We must not confuse the Sticker Reactions with  Stickers, since WhatsApp has been working with Stickers albums for months, more specifically since version 2.18.120, while the Sticker Reactions have been added in the current Beta version of the application.

How do the Sticker Reactions work in WhatsApp?

With Sticker Reactions we can select and send stickers quickly and easily, reacting to a particular message. Its operation is very simple, since WhatsApp allows us to quickly select a sticker label, opening its category, and when opening the Stickers View, there will be a new Love icon in the Stickers bar: clicking on it will show us all the available categories.

If the stickers contained in the downloaded sticker packages do not have a reaction category, WhatsApp will show us this particular view:

There are 4 reaction buttons: Lol, Love, Sad and Wow. When you find a reaction to our downloaded stickers, WhatsApp will show you all the stickers in that category.
