Just get a new update of WhatsApp for Android, in its beta version, which adds a new feature: Starred Messages. This is the new version 2.12.338, an update with which we can select messages and star them to easily find them later. Surprisingly it comes this new functionality before sharing the documents, which we have been waiting a few weeks.

Using starred messages is very simple, just touch and hold on any message in any chat to star it, and click on the star that appears above us, so now we’ll see the message with a star. To access them, just click on the menu button (three vertical dots) and the “Starred messages” option appears, where we find our starred messages. To unstar, from screen “Starred messages” can unstar them all at once by clicking on menu and “Unstar all” or one by one, clicking and selecting the message and then touch on the star crossed up.

Internally this new update of the beta version of WhatsApp for Android brings many changes, and that the APK installation file has increased 93 KB, with 380 modified files, which makes us think that even occasional novelty could hide this new upgrade, and adds 12 files, all related to the new Starred Messages feature.
