Descripción
The beta version of WhatsApp for Android is being updated again in the Play Store and introduces a new user interface for the group invitation section using QR code. This innovation was already planned for the beginning of March, but can now be seen by all users since the last beta version 2.20.195.2.
The interface is quite similar to the one used at the end of May in Android (but also in iOS) to share account information with the QR Code: through this screenshot users will be offered the possibility to join a group by simply scanning the code.
The membership code will be unique to each group and can be created (and shared) by WhatsApp group administrators. The code can be scanned directly from the camera application built into the messaging application, offering a faster and more secure membership.
The new user interface is now available with the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android, although it may need to be activated from the server. You can use the respective links to join the beta test program (subject to availability) or download the APK manually.
We remind you that to download this Beta version from Google Play before you have to convert into beta testers. If you are not yet a beta tester, you will no longer be able to be a beta tester, so if you want to try this new feature you must download the APK of the application by other means, we leave a download link: APK Mirror.
