WhatsApp and treatment that makes of the users data

WhatsApp has not received a very good mark in the annual report by the Electronic Frontier Foundation that evaluate how the big technology companies treat the stored data of its users. For this foundation, the instant messaging service needs to improve in many areas.

As we mentioned, this foundation has published an annual rating about the technological companies and how those data of the users were treated. Such reports qualifies the companies from 0 to 5 depending on how the companies have handled with users data that uses its services. This year WhatsApp has received only one point, which it puts them at the end of the sector companies regarding the storage and management of the data stored of the users of the instant messaging service.

Even companies like Google, that don’t have a good reputation for being very respectful with the data of its users, It is above them in this annual report. The only thing that its seems to be ok with the instant messaging service is in opposing rear door used by some companies.
