Descripción
WhatsApp already allows us to make group video calls with up to 8 participants (7 participants plus us), thus doubling the number of participants, previously only 4 (3+1) who can be on a group video call at one time, more than enough for the vast majority.
This feature is available in the latest Beta version of WhatsApp for Android (2.20.133) and the latest Beta version of WhatsApp for iOS (2.20.50.25), but just because you have one of these versions does not mean you can use it anymore, it is gradually being made available to everyone, and will be activated in the next few hours.
Group Video Calling on WhatsApp
To be able to make these group video calls with up to 8 participants, the only requirement is that the participants we add must have at least the latest versions of Android and iOS, i.e. from versions 2.20.133 for Android and 2.20.50.25 for iOS.
If you want to make voice or video calls in a group, just open a group and touch the Call or Video Call button, so if there are more than 4 users in the group WhatsApp will ask us which users we want to add. Please note that group participants that are not saved in the address book will not be added.
