WhatsApp already have a native application for Mac, WhatsMac

WhatsApp has a native application with which you will not depend on the browser to use the instant messaging service on a Mac running OS X Apple. We’re talking about WhatsMac, with which you’ll be able to answer your messages from the instant messaging service without leave your computer.

We can say that the WhatsMac application has a simple operation, because it uses the user agent of the supported browsers so WhatsApp believe that we are using this browser, and thus we can answer messages from our contacts from our Mac. We could say that instead of using WhatsApp web, we use this app and that’s all.

We can download WhatsMac for free from GitHub and use it to answer all our messages received from WhatsApp, but keep in mind that security will not be the hardest thing that you will find in this app while using our account of the instant messaging service.

We also have to know that WhatsApp web doesn’t work with iOS so we have to use an Android smartphone. Let everyone decide but it don’t seems a bad option.
