Description
WhatsApp for Android (Beta) is being updated on the Google Play Store just hours after the previous update. The new version, already distributed in the green robot shop with version 2.18.301, presents a great novelty: the compatibility with Picture-in-Picture mode for the playback of videos in the chat.
Thanks to this new feature we will be able to see directly inside the chat the videos in a floating window that can be managed manually and without leaving the chat. Unlike the iOS version, which allows you to continue playback while browsing other chats or in the application settings, the corresponding Android variant will automatically close the video once you exit the chat where the link you want to play is located.

To enable the new functionality, therefore, you only need to update (or manually install the APK). However, if this doesn’t work, you will need to back up your conversations, uninstall them, and reinstall them.
We remind you that to download this Beta version from Google Play before you have to convert into beta testers. If you are not yet a beta tester, you will no longer be able to be a beta tester, so if you want to try this new feature you must download the APK of the application by other means, we leave a download link: APK Mirror.
I love it
