Description
The people at WhatsApp have woken up all their users with a very pleasant surprise, the activation of group video calling for everyone. The beta for Android version 2.18.145, and the version 2.15.52 for Apple iOS, already have this feature available that facilitates communication between chat groups.
Although it seems that for the moment it has not implemented the group video calling feature in a massive way, as only a few seem to be using it. What’s more, it can only work if a user who has the function active calls another user, something that seems quite complicated at the moment. So everything indicates that it is reaching all WhatsApp users in a staggered way.
WhatsApp launches group video calling
The operation of group video calling seems to be very simple, as users will simply have to add new contacts to a video call, forming a mosaic on the screen with all participants in the call and be able to interact better with all of them.
In addition, WhatsApp users will have different options at the bottom of the screen. You can turn off the camera, the microphone, use the rear camera and end the video call whenever you want. Now we only have to wait for the function to be activated in more users, and of course we will soon switch to the stable version of the application.
