New version of WhatsApp for Android, which is updated to version 2.12.297, a new update which seems to be focused on the stable version of the application, which has been updated twice in recent days on Google Play now to the version 2.12.298, but is not available to all users. And this new beta version seems that attempts to correct errors found in the stable version 2.12.295, though interestingly most modified files are referred to Google Play function that does not yet appear in the stable version, but may appear in the version final stable , be launched in the coming days.

As we mentioned, internally this new beta of WhatsApp for Android version increases its APK in 20 KB, with 31 modified files, especially related to the Google Drive function in addition to referring to the widget and recent locations in groups. As we have been saying these past days, they were preparing a new stable version, which we’ll talk more in depth when it is liberalized for all in Google Play.
