There is a new stable version of WhatsApp for Android to Google Play, this time it’s the new version 2.12.317, which is not yet available for all devices, nor brings Google Drive function, although work continues on this, as we discuss below. An update that explains why the decrease in the beta version, removing the preview links, which probably will not see until the stable version is definitive for all.

Internally the current stable version of WhatsApp for Android increases its APK in approximately 15 KB with respect to the previous stable version, without adding or removing new elements, but with 33 modified files, including 9 files related with statistics and settings of Google Drive, indicating that the function of backups in the cloud could come in next stable releases. Have also modified other related files with contact information, recent locations in chat groups, widget, etc.
